Decorative Engraving on Wood and Metal with Liz Roessler

Join New England artist Liz Roessler for this unique workshop in which students will learn the fundamentals of engraving on metal as well as the art of decorative woodburning! Through demonstration & interactive guidance, students will learn how to create artistic lettering & embellishments on a wide variety of objects using a hand-held engraving tool and a woodburning tool. You will work on wood coasters, cutting boards and metal tumblers.

Safety essentials, healthy ergonomics, workspace set up tips, using stencils vs. creating freehand, pro tips for fun project ideas for everyday enjoyment & year-round gift-giving will be generously shared!
