Fall in Love with a New Best Friend! Fall is one of the best times of year to welcome a dog into your life on Nantucket when the beaches and walking trails are quieter.
When you adopt from NiSHA, your dog is already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — and, most importantly, you’re giving a deserving dog the chance to become part of a family.
No appointment necessary. And no pressure to adopt. Just stop by between 12 and 2 in the upper yard behind Offshore Animal Hospital. Come meet the dogs, and see who steals your heart! If you already know you're ready, you can fill out our application to be pre-approved and come earlier in the day.
