Learn to eBird

Join Seth Engelbourg of the Linda Loring Nature Foundation to learn about eBird, one of the longest running and most successful citizen science platforms. In this virtual workshop you’ll learn what eBird is, how you can use it to improve your birding experience, and how scientists use the data that is submitted to learn more about bird populations across the globe.

Virtual workshop participants have an opportunity to put their eBird know-how to use in the field on an optional birding trip on Saturday, Jan 22! Field trip is optional, but participants must register for and attend the workshop in order to attend the field trip.
