Cold Turkey Plunge 2023

Freezin’ for a Reason! Nantucket Atheneum Cold Turkey Plunge is a festive fundraiser that provides the monies necessary for Weezie Library for Children to offer free, year-round access to programs, services, and materials to ALL library users.

Join Atheneum staff and the many plungers on Children’s Beach to watch this year’s Cold Turkey Plunge on Thanksgiving morning. Plungers will run into the water at 10 am – spectators should arrive before 10 am or you’ll miss the event! Free coffee, hot chocolate, & morning treats courtesy of Brant Point Grill & Downyflake, while they last!  Donations will be gratefully accepted at the event.  Parking is extremely limited.  INSIDERS TIP: PARK A BLOCK OR TWO AWAY and walk to the beach.
