Hand Printed Papers & Woven Cards

In this workshop you will make decorative papers and then use those papers to make Woven Cards. These classes are designed to be taken together but you can also take them individually as time allows.

Day one you will learn to make decorative papers which have a wide range of applications, from making monoprint works of art, to papers used for book arts, cards, and collage. This simple printing process is one you can continue after the workshop as there is no equipment required to create vibrant, colorful papers, and art.

Using a few simple tools and a variety of materials to create textures, you will learn how to layer color that will yield exciting results. No two pieces will be alike.

Day two you will make unique woven cards from the papers you have made.
