Independence Day Water Competition on Main Street

This year the fun will be a water competition between Town of Nantucket’s Fire Department and the Boynton Lane Reserves.  The public should leave your water balloons at home.  Town of Nantucket Culture & Tourism event

Water competition between Nantucket Fire Department and Boynton Lane Reserves. The public should expect to get wet within the “Spray Zone” and will be limited in participating in handling the fire hoses of both Fire Companies, but not in the fun of getting wet. Both firetrucks will compete for bragging rights to fill 55-gallon drums with water! Attendees are asked to refrain from bringing water balloons, soakers and other ‘water competition’ materials.
