Marbling with Acrylics: Practice Makes Perfect

This workshop offers you the chance to practice and move toward the mastery of Marbling patterns and techniques with which you would like more time and guidance. This is a no-rush workshop with a relaxed tempo allowing for multiple attempts at refining a pattern.  Students are encouraged to bring samples of papers that have caused them difficulty or images of patterns they aspire to learn. 

For those concerned about the details of setting up a workable marbling situation at home, a thorough, hands-on, review of paint, paper, and size preparation will be offered. 

Skill Level; Advanced Beginner 

Student supply list:   Apron provided or bring you favorite, Studio clothes, protective non-slip shoes (no sandals/flipflops), notepad and pen. Any marbled paper samples or images of patterns with which you would like help(optional)

Studio details:  The studio workshop location will be sent to students prior to the workshop.  We have a refrigerator, coffee, tea water, and snacks.  Bring your lunch, beverages, and any other snacks you like.  You will also be able to order lunch that will be delivered to the studio.

We will also provide other information on getting to the island and getting around, food, and things not to miss during your stay.
