In this two part class (second session on October 13) Janie offers a broad overview of the many ways to use an iPhone. The class is intended for anyone new to using an iPhone or for a user who wants to review.
This week Janie walks participants through iPhone models and some basic settings, including storage, how to make the iPhone easier to see, Siri, wallpaper, why you need a passcode and how to change it.
The class also covers how to manage the battery and privacy settings, strategies on safe ways to keep track of your passwords and email accounts.
And finally, Janie covers phone call functions such as contacts, favorites, recent calls, how to switch between screens while in a telephone call, how to delete old voicemails and the basics of sending texts.
In Part 2, Janie covers messages, adding pictures, dictating messages and sending emojis. She discusses iPhone updates and why they are important and reviews Apple ID and its password and as well as how the iCloud works.
