7″ Woven Basket Tray with Mary Emery Lacoursiere

Each student will weave their own 7” Nantucket Basket with a cherry base, handle, and turned rim.  This basket is called a tray as the finished basket is not as tall but the proportion of this basket resembles the popular egg basket with a low profile and tall handle. 

This project you will be working with hardwood cherry staves that will add an elegance to your finished basket.

This project is suitable for both new and experienced weavers.
