Ages 6 and up: Sailor’s Valentines x Resin! with Barnaby’s Nantucket

This popular “Nantucket” shell craft dates as far back as the 1830’s. Sailors would head out on their years’ long voyages, returning home from sea with a Sailor’s Valentine for their loved ones. Children will enjoy making these decorative pieces with a variety of tiny shells: designing boxes, wall hangings, ornaments, or trays! Kids will have the option at the end of class to add Resin to create a finished glossy coat to their artwork. ( Ages 6 and up)
