Join us for a screening of CUFFE: TAXED, Anita Allison’s powerful documentary exploring the life and legacy of Paul Cuffe, shipowner, abolitionist, philanthropist, and one of the most influential Black Americans of the early Republic. Following the film, a panel of historians will discuss Cuffe’s deep ties to Nantucket, his maritime legacy, and his connection to the Shallop, illuminating how his story expands and enriches our understanding of American and Island history.
