Join Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with SCORE  for an Education Workshop: Human Resources for Small-Medium Sized Employers, Thursday, February 15th, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, via Zoom, presented by SCORE mentor, Beth Yohai.

Whether you are a business owner, office manager, or new to HR, this webinar is designed to help small and medium sized employers understand the legal risks associated with human resources and how to mitigate those risks. This session will also explore the top HR practices and provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the increasingly complex world of HR.

This session will provide participants with a foundational knowledge of the laws and regulations that influence how you should be running your business, as well as strategies to help you with complex issues. We expect this to be an interactive workshop, touching on the areas of concern for you, so we will have ample time for Q & A.

Beth Yohai – Yohai has over 35 years of experience in all facets of Human Resources. She has a deep understanding of the HR challenges faced by companies of all sizes and industries. Beth also owned and operated a successful small business in Massachusetts, which she sold in 2013. Now, Yohai is a SCORE mentor specializing in Human Resources laws, practices and comprehension.
