Explore Salt Marsh Restoration and Oyster Reef Resilience with NCF
Join the NCF Science Staff for a tour into the Medouie Creek salt marsh to learn about a long-term and large scale salt marsh restoration success story. Get your feet a little wet as we talk about the birds that use the restored marsh and on going invasive species control. We will then follow as the marsh’s story evolves with climate change and recent restoration efforts including purple marsh crab control, native species planting and building MA’s first oyster castle-based reef for coastal resilience.
