Learn to Weave a Nantucket Basket with DecArts Instructor

In this beginner friendly class, you will learn how to weave a Nantucket basket, including terminology, stave preparation, weaving, and basic finishing.

Each student will make a 5″ round basket with a hardwood rim and handle.

This is a great way to try your hand at this uniquely Nantucket art form

We will meet for 4 evening sessions October 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Students may need to do some weaving at home in between
