Lighthouse Garden Festival

The 14th Annual Nantucket Garden Festival highlights the unique and beautiful garden ecosystems on Nantucket and focuses on the importance of sustainability, conservation and gardening ethics for the long-term health of the island. Scheduled for July 11th-13th, the festival celebrates gardening through creative lectures and workshops, exquisite garden tours, and children’s activities.

On Tuesday, July 11 at 9 am is the Van Garden Tour with Greyson Keller of the Garden Group and professional gardener Natalie Cowger, departing from Nantucket Lighthouse School.  At 9:30 am is the Floral Design Workshop with Tori Samuel at Harvest Garden.  At 1:30 pm is another Van Garden Tour with Greyson Keller of the Garden Group and professional gardener Natalie Cowger also departing from the Nantucket Lighthouse School.  At 3 pm is an Interactive Panel Discussion with Nantucket Horticulture and Garden Design experts on the second floor of Lemon Press.

On Wednesday, July 12 at 9 am is Floral Crowns and Wands with Laura Davison.  Also at 9 am is the Walking Garden Tour with Lindsay Curry departing from the Nantucket Lighthouse School.  At noon is Keynote Lecture & Luncheon: The Know Maintenance Perennial Garden with Keynote Presenter, Roy Diblik at the Straight Wharf Restaurant.

On Thursday, July 13 the Van Garden Tour with Greyson Keller of the Garden Group and professional gardener Natalie Cowger will kick off at 9 am at the Nantucket Lighthouse School.  Also beginning at 9 am is Wellness in the Garden with 11:11 Nantucket at the Cisco Brewers Garden.  At 1:30 pm is another Van Garden Tour with Greyson Keller of the Garden Group and professional gardener Natalie Cowger leaving from Nantucket Lighthouse School.  At 2:30 pm is American Roots with Nick and Allison McCullough.
