LUNAFEST 2022 Nantucket

LUNAFEST® is a traveling film festival dedicated to championing women filmmakers, while bringing people and perspectives together within communities. LUNAFEST® features a program of short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives, including gender nonconforming individuals. The program highlights aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connection while celebrating all arts within filmmaking from concept theory, writing, drawing, imagery, and animation to filming and editing.

All proceeds from LUNAFEST® are donated to non-profit organizations. A screening fee of $250 goes to LUNA’s primary cause partner, Chicken & Egg Pictures, a non-profit organization that supports women nonfiction filmmakers whose artful and innovative storytelling catalysts social change. 100% of the net proceeds from LUNAFEST® 2022 on Nantucket supports Nantucket Community Television with our mission to the island community.
