Mahjong Mondays
A Summer Tradition with Purpose
The Nantucket Boys & Girls Club invites you to join us for Mahjong Mondays, a weekly summer gathering that combines friendship, community, and philanthropy.
Beginning July 6, players are invited to come together each Monday evening for an enjoyable game of Mahjong in a welcoming setting while supporting the life-changing work of the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or simply looking for a meaningful way to connect with others this summer, Mahjong Mondays offers the perfect opportunity to relax, socialize, and give back.
$20 Donation Per Session
Your donation includes:
- Mahjong play
- Wine and light snacks
- Support for Nantucket Boys & Girls Club kids, programs and services
PLAYERS OF ALL LEVELS WELCOME
Experienced players are encouraged to bring their NMJL card and enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition.
Beginner Instruction Available
New to Mahjong? We’ve got you covered! With the exception of weeks #3 and #4, Mahjong instructor Laura Brusca will be on site to teach beginners the fundamentals of the game, answer questions, and help build confidence at the table.
Whether you’re learning for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, these sessions provide a welcoming and supportive environment for players of all experience levels.
PLAY WITH PURPOSE
Each week, participants will gather around the table knowing that their involvement is helping create great futures for Nantucket youth. Proceeds from Mahjong Mondays directly support Club programs that provide a safe place to learn, grow, and belong for hundreds of island children and teens.
More than a game, Mahjong Mondays is an opportunity to build community, foster friendships, and invest in the next generation of Nantucket.
Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged.
We hope you’ll join us this summer for a tradition that brings people together while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.
Gather around the table. Connect with friends. Support club kids.
