Marbled Papers & Band Boxes with Mary Emery Lacoursiere

Learn the art of paper marbling using traditional tools that have been used for over 200 years. Learn time honored patterns and techniques and use these skills to create your own unique patterns.

We will then use the marbled papers to make bandboxes. Bandboxes have been used as a form of early American luggage as well as storage of all kinds. Once you know how bandboxes are constructed you will never again give a gift without a handmade box to put it in.
