Microfishing: The Smaller the Better!
Microfishing is the pursuit of small and overlooked fish species like minnows, dace, darters, and sculpins. Join MMA Aquarium staff to learn how to catch the smallest of fishes and learn how microfishing is being used to help study tropical fish migrations.
This program is designed to be interesting for adults and children ages 8 and older. Microfishing meets at the the MMA Aquarium, 32 Washington Street. All registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult to participate in this program. Pre-registration is required for this nighttime program. All equipment will be provided. Pre-registration is suggested, walk ins subject to availability. Program begins promptly at start time and late arrivals may be turned away.
