Nantucket Shorts Festival

The Nantucket Shorts Festival is back, and it’s happening on October 13, 2024, at the Nantucket Dreamland Theater!  Only $25 per person to attend – tickets at nantucketdreamland.org.  Get ready for an evening of extraordinary filmmaking, celebrating the essence of Nantucket through short films of 2 to 10 minutes, brought to you by NCTV.

The Nantucket Shorts Festival’s mission is clear—to celebrate and encourage filmmaking on Nantucket. Founded in 2013 by five local Nantucket artists, the Nantucket Shorts Festival has become a beloved tradition, fostering a community of support for amateur and professional filmmakers.

Whether you’re an experienced filmmaker or just starting out, the unique format of our event provides a platform for your art. Each submitted film is carefully screened by a jury, and the top films are selected to be showcased on the big screen at the Dreamland Theater.
