Precipitation Monitoring

February’s featured Community Science project is Precipitation Stations. Join us for a virtual workshop where you’ll learn about the precipitation data we collect at LLNF, and how it connects to national networks that monitor long term trends.

You’ll learn how to use the tools and how to collect the information, and what the data are used for. An optional field trip will follow the workshop for an opportunity to test the methods in the field.
