The Voyages of the Mayflower and Her Shallop from a Sailor’s Perspective – With Nathaniel Philbrick

Egan is excited to join The Blockade Runners Mayflower II Shallop Tour in August 2026, part of Revolution 250, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War.

The Shallop Tour will remind us, among other events, of the daring exploits of the legendary captain and patriot Paul Cuffe, who ran the British blockade using a Shallop boat to transport supplies to the people of The Mayflower II’s Fuller Shallop, manned with a crew outfitted in colonial garb, will visit five (5) ports over an 11-day period. Ports-of-Call include Westport Point, Padanaram, Clark’s Cove, Cuttyhunk, and Nantucket.

As part of the Nantucket Schedule of events, Egan will host a special talk with Nathaniel Philbrick at the Great Harbor Yacht Club. Due to limited capacity, this will be an Egan Maritime Members-Only opportunity!
