Nantucket Science Festival

The Nantucket Science Festival (ACKSciFest) is an annual public celebration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) held on the third Saturday of March. It is a free community-based event, bringing together island partner organizations and the Nantucket Community at large, to highlight the impact of STEAM in all of our lives.

Founded by the MMA in 2015, and in years past, through partnership with the Nantucket Community School (NCS), a small and dedicated festival team creates and manages the half day program with a robust group of  some of the most intelligent scientists, generous sponsors, creative non profits, dedicated volunteers, and curious students on Nantucket.
