Welcome to Events.Nantucket.net, your online guide to events, activities, and happenings on Nantucket Island.

By accessing our website, creating an account, or submitting an event, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. About Our Service

Events.Nantucket.net provides an online platform where individuals, businesses, organizations, and community groups can share information about events taking place on Nantucket.

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, event details are submitted by third parties and may change without notice.

2. User Accounts

Users must create an account to submit events.

By registering, you agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your account credentials, and accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse our services.

3. Event Submissions and Approval

All submitted events are subject to editorial review before publication. Submission does not guarantee approval or publication.

Events.Nantucket.net reserves the right to:

  • Approve, reject, edit, or remove event listings at our discretion.
  • Correct spelling, formatting, and presentation for clarity and consistency.
  • Request additional information or clarification.
  • Decline submissions that are misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, or unrelated to Nantucket events.
  • Remove outdated, canceled, or inaccurate listings.

Event organizers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate, complete, and current.

4. Event Listing Fees and Account Levels

Event listing fees are determined by the user’s assigned account level.

Standard Accounts: Standard event submissions are subject to a $25 listing fee per event, unless otherwise indicated.

Advertiser Accounts: Eligible businesses with qualifying Nantucket.net advertising packages may receive complimentary, unlimited event listings through an authorized promotional code.

Community and Charitable Organizations: Eligible community groups and charitable organizations may qualify for complimentary event listings.

Special Account Levels: Additional approved account classifications may receive special pricing or listing privileges as determined by Events.Nantucket.net.

Eligibility for complimentary or discounted listings is determined by our team. Promotional codes and account privileges may not be transferred or shared without authorization.

Listing fees are subject to change. The applicable fee will be displayed or communicated before payment is collected.

5. Payments and Refunds

All event submissions are reviewed and approved before payment is collected.

All sales are final. Once payment has been processed, event listing fees are nonrefundable, including in cases of event cancellation, postponement, or changes made by the event organizer.

Submitting an event does not guarantee approval or publication. No payment will be collected for submissions that are not approved.

If Events.Nantucket.net is unable to publish an approved, paid listing due to circumstances within our control, we may offer a refund or other appropriate resolution.

Events.Nantucket.net reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in exceptional circumstances or when required by applicable law.

Listing fees cover the processing and publication of event information. Payment does not guarantee event attendance, ticket sales, or promotional results.

6. Event Organizer Responsibilities

By submitting an event, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to submit and promote the event.
  • All information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You have permission to use all submitted photographs, graphics, logos, and other materials.
